In this role you will provide operational and administrative support across the end to end recruitment, onboarding, and development lifecycle for the Graduate and Intern programs. Lime Recruitment is currently working with a major resources client seeking a Talent Coordinator. In this role you will provide operational and administrative support across the end to end recruitment, onboarding, and development lifecycle for the Graduate and Intern programs. The role plays a key part in delivering a high quality candidate, stakeholder, and participant experience and acts as a central point of coordination across recruitment and program activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct phone screening for graduate and intern candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience and providing clear, well considered recommendations to the business regarding progression to interview.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews using Microsoft Teams, managing complex logistics across multiple stakeholders and time zones.
- Manage the Early Talent inbox, responding to queries from candidates, hiring leaders, HR stakeholders, and site contacts in a timely, professional, and solution focused manner.
- Support recruitment reporting and pipeline tracking, including maintaining accurate data and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and Workday.
- Coordinate pre employment activities including medical bookings, qualification checks, and working rights verification via HireRight, tracking progress to ensure onboarding timelines are met.
- Maintain accurate and up to date candidate records in Workday, including notes, status updates, and outcomes to support transparency and compliance.
- Assist with offer and onboarding administration, including issuing communications, tracking acceptances, and escalating risks or delays as required.
- Provide operational support during campaign recruitment periods, including bulk candidate communications, assessment activities, and high volume coordination.
What we’re looking for?
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong customer service mindset, with the ability to represent the Rio Tinto brand as the first point of contact for Graduates and Interns.
- Experience coordinating recruitment, learning, or HR processes in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- Confidence using systems and tools such as Workday, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, Excel, and third party vendors.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while taking accountability for operational delivery.
