Senior Project Support Officer - ICT
Contract to 30 June 2027 | Brisbane, Queensland | Hybrid Working
Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Senior Project Support Officer - ICT. In this role you will provide high-level project coordination and administrative support across ICT initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the planning, execution and delivery of ICT projects across the organisation
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules, risk registers, status reports and stakeholder communications
- Assist project managers with resource allocation, budget tracking and procurement activities
- Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes and track action items to completion
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables, escalating risks and issues as required
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines
- Support change management activities and contribute to continuous improvement of project processes
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior project support staff
About You
- Demonstrated experience in a project support or coordination role within a government or large complex organisation
- Strong understanding of ICT project lifecycles and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Prince2)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Relevant qualifications in project management, business administration, information technology or a related discipline
- Current Australian work rights and the ability to obtain a government security clearance
