Business Analyst
Lime Recruitment is currently working with a Queensland Government organisation to recruit a Business Analyst for a contract through to 30 June 2027, with potential to extend.
The role will initially work within a cybersecurity project focused on reducing cyber risk and improving security maturity across the organisation. You will work between business and technical teams to understand how cybersecurity controls impact existing processes and translate these into clear requirements and practical implementation outcomes.
In this role you will:
- Gather and document business, functional and non functional requirements
- Analyse and map current and future business processes
- Assess how cybersecurity controls will impact business operations and confidential information handling
- Work with business users, technical teams and service providers on requirements and implementation
- Develop UAT plans and test cases and support users through UAT
- Support implementation activities and post implementation hypercare
You will bring:
- 5 plus years of Senior Business Analyst experience across ICT projects or service delivery
- Strong requirements gathering and business process analysis experience
- Experience developing business, functional and non-functional requirements
- Strong process mapping and transformation experience
- Cybersecurity project or security controls experience will be highly regarded
- Data Loss Prevention or information protection experience will be highly regarded
- Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Purview knowledge is desirable
- Experience developing test cases and supporting or leading UAT
This is a great opportunity for an experienced BA with a background in cybersecurity to join a substantial cyber maturity uplift with a contract running through to June 2027 and potential for further extension.
