Principal Business Analyst
Contract to 31 December 2026 | Brisbane, Queensland | Hybrid Working
Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Principal Business Analyst. In this role you will lead and consult with stakeholders across the state to identify, analyze, and document business processes and requirements for the development and delivery of a renewed ICT Operating Model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder consultations across the state to gather and validate business requirements.
- Identify and analyze current business processes related to ICT operations.
- Document comprehensive business processes and requirements for the renewed ICT Operating Model.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide expert guidance on business analysis methodologies and best practices.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive requirements gathering and consensus.
- Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and aligned with project timelines.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the ICT Operating Model.
About You
- Proven experience as a Principal or Senior Business Analyst, ideally in a government or large enterprise environment.
- Strong background in ICT projects, with experience in operating models or similar frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to consult across diverse groups.
- Proficiency in business process modeling, analysis, and documentation techniques.
- Knowledge of Queensland Government operations or public sector processes is desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in Business Analysis, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in leading business analysis initiatives and mentoring junior analysts.
