Cyber Security Architect Lead
Contract to 17/09/2027 | Carseldine, QLD | Hybrid Working
Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Cyber Security Architect Lead. In this role you will provide strategic leadership and technical oversight of enterprise cybersecurity architecture, guiding a team to protect critical government systems and data assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of cybersecurity architecture frameworks across enterprise environments
- Develop and maintain security architecture standards, patterns, and reference models
- Provide expert guidance on secure system design, threat modelling, and risk mitigation strategies
- Oversee the evaluation and integration of security technologies and solutions
- Lead and mentor a team of security architects and specialists
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align security architecture with business objectives and compliance requirements
- Conduct security architecture reviews and provide recommendations for complex projects
- Contribute to incident response planning and security governance frameworks
About You
- Extensive experience in cybersecurity architecture within large, complex organisations
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing security teams
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, and the Australian Government ISM
- Experience with enterprise security technologies including SIEM, IAM, cloud security, and network defence
- Relevant qualifications in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related discipline
- Hold or be willing to obtain relevant security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, SABSA)
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
