Technical Delivery Manager
Contract to 26/02/2027 | Brisbane, Queensland | Hybrid
Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Technical Delivery Manager. In this role you will lead the technical delivery of data, analytics, reporting, and AI capabilities within a major digital transformation program, coordinating workstreams across multidisciplinary teams and managing delivery dependencies to ensure successful implementation and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day technical delivery of data, analytics, and AI work packages, ensuring deliverables, dependencies, issues, and risks are actively managed within agreed timeframes.
- Coordinate technical delivery activities across architects, data analysts, engineers, vendors, and operational support teams.
- Translate project objectives and architecture designs into executable technical work packages with clear priorities and implementation plans.
- Manage and monitor technical delivery schedules, resource allocation, milestones, and critical path activities.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for data integration, reporting, analytics, AI, and cloud-based platform implementation.
- Facilitate collaboration between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring technical issues, decisions, and risks are communicated and resolved promptly.
- Coordinate testing, quality assurance, deployment, and transition activities to ensure deliverables are production-ready and supportable.
- Manage external vendors and delivery partners, ensuring quality outcomes and adherence to technical standards.
About You
- Demonstrated experience leading delivery of complex enterprise data, analytics, business intelligence, data warehouse, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience managing technical delivery across multidisciplinary teams including architects, analysts, engineers, developers, and vendors.
- Strong understanding of modern data and analytics platforms including data warehousing, data lakes, data lakehouse architectures, BI and reporting, data integration, data governance, and AI platforms.
- Strong technical background across Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Services, Azure DevOps, Power BI, Microsoft Entra ID, and M365.
- Experience coordinating data migration, data platform implementation, reporting and analytics solutions, and cloud-based technology delivery.
- Strong understanding of Agile, hybrid, and traditional project delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence outcomes across complex stakeholder environments.
