Stakeholder Engagement Manager
Contract to 26/02/2027 | Brisbane, Queensland | Hybrid
Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Stakeholder Engagement Manager. In this role you will Drive strategic stakeholder engagement and communication across a large-scale government digital transformation program, bridging IT teams and business leaders to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT program teams and business stakeholders, building trusted executive-level relationships
- Partner with business leaders to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges, and align technology initiatives accordingly
- Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication strategies across the program lifecycle
- Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, workshops, and executive briefings
- Identify and manage stakeholder concerns, escalations, and facilitate conflict resolution between business requirements and technical constraints
- Assess stakeholder impacts and resistance points to develop engagement approaches supporting implementation readiness and adoption
- Monitor adoption outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction using appropriate methodologies
- Analyse engagement effectiveness and recommend improvements to processes, governance, and communication practices
About You
- Significant experience in stakeholder engagement or business relationship management within large, complex digital transformation programs
- Demonstrated executive-level engagement skills with a proven ability to build trust through proactive, transparent communication
- Proven experience developing and executing stakeholder engagement and communication strategies
- High-level experience creating engagement approaches that support successful technology solution implementation and business readiness
- Strong experience identifying, managing, and escalating stakeholder concerns and facilitating resolution of competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to develop reports measuring stakeholder satisfaction and engagement effectiveness
- Desirable: Agile, Prince2, or Change Management certification (Prosci or equivalent)
