Senior Procurement Officer
Contract to 26/02/2027 | Brisbane, Queensland | Hybrid
Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Senior Procurement Officer. In this role you will Provide procurement and contract management support to ensure successful project delivery and value for money outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide procurement and contract management support across projects and operational services.
- Coordinate procurement activities including market approaches, tenders, and contract establishment.
- Deliver timely procurement and commercial advice to project teams and stakeholders.
- Administer contractual arrangements, monitoring obligations, deliverables, and milestones.
- Support vendor negotiations, contract renewals, and procurement planning.
- Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and key performance indicators.
- Identify and manage procurement risks, implementing controls and mitigation strategies.
- Track contract expenditure, supporting budget management and invoice validation.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, contract management, or commercial support within government or large organisations.
- Strong understanding of contract management principles, procurement processes, and vendor performance management.
- Experience supporting end-to-end procurement activities, including evaluations and contract administration.
- Ability to interpret contract terms and monitor supplier performance against service levels.
- Experience preparing procurement documentation, reports, and governance papers.
- Strong analytical skills to review financial and performance information and manage risks.
- Relevant qualifications in procurement, commerce, business, or related discipline, with certification preferred.
