Principal Project Manager

Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Principal Project Manager. In this role you will Lead the planning and delivery of a complex digital health project that improves referral access, interoperability and service outcomes across diverse healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success measures in line with approved plans.
- Provide strategic advice to ensure deliverables meet quality, architecture, regulatory and clinical standards.
- Manage schedules, dependencies, risks, issues and resources across project activities.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, governance bodies, vendors and delivery partners.
- Lead statewide consultations and adapt delivery approaches to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Oversee project execution, governance, reporting and decision-making throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Apply data governance, privacy and cybersecurity principles to support safe handling of sensitive information.
- Lead, mentor and develop multidisciplinary project teams and delivery capability.
About You
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale, complex ICT projects or programs, preferably in healthcare.
- Strong digital health integration and interoperability experience.
- Proven stakeholder relationship management and influencing skills in complex environments.
- Expert knowledge of project management methodologies, preferably PRINCE2, techniques and tools.
- Excellent negotiation, consultation, facilitation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading, managing and mentoring multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, problem-solving and vendor coordination capabilities.
