Project Manager
Contract to 18/04/2027 | BRISBANE CITY, QLD
Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Project Manager. In this role you will Lead the successful delivery of complex SAP-related projects that support digital transformation, operational efficiency and improved service outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex SAP-related projects within agreed scope, budget, timeframes and quality standards.
- Align project objectives and outcomes with organisational strategy and government standards.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders, vendors and delivery partners to support informed decision-making.
- Identify, assess and mitigate project risks in line with governance, procurement and legislative requirements.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams and foster collaboration, innovation, accountability and capability development.
- Champion SAP solutions that enable digital transformation and operational improvement.
- Prepare high-quality project reports and briefings covering progress, risks, issues and outcomes.
- Apply effective governance and compliance practices throughout the project lifecycle.
About You
- Extensive experience managing large-scale, complex projects, ideally SAP implementations or upgrades such as SAP S/4HANA.
- Advanced knowledge and practical application of recognised methodologies including PRINCE2, Agile or PMBOK.
- Strong leadership experience guiding multidisciplinary teams in complex environments.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging senior stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of SAP technologies and their alignment with business strategy and transformation objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project risks and comply with governance frameworks, policies and government standards.
- Relevant qualifications in information technology, business or a related discipline, or certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or SAP Activate, are highly regarded; a criminal history check is required before appointment.
