Solution Architect
Contract to 30/06/2027 | BRISBANE CITY, QLD
Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Solution Architect. In this role you will Designs and guides complex technology solutions for a statewide, integrated, multi-modal transport coordination initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into practical, secure and scalable technology solutions.
- Develop and maintain solution architectures, technical designs, models, diagrams and supporting documentation.
- Define system interfaces, integration patterns, APIs, data flows, security boundaries and deployment approaches.
- Provide architecture across business, information, application, technology and information security domains.
- Evaluate technologies, platforms and frameworks, and undertake options analysis, feasibility assessments and estimates.
- Provide technical leadership, architectural governance and assurance throughout delivery.
- Assess existing environments and emerging technologies, including proofs of capability and exploratory initiatives.
- Build effective relationships while managing concurrent initiatives, changing priorities and evolving requirements.
About You
- Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect delivering complex enterprise technology solutions.
- Proven ability to develop solution architectures, technical designs and architecture artefacts.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise technologies, systems integration, cloud platforms, networking and security principles.
- Experience across operational technology, IoT, data, cloud and enterprise applications; AWS experience is preferred.
- Experience designing CCTV or video platform solutions is highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, analytical, planning, problem-solving and technical leadership skills.
- A proven delivery record, with a CV and at least two recent referees demonstrating relevant experience.
