Release Manager

Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Release Manager. In this role you will Lead end-to-end release management across complex ICT projects, coordinating teams, vendors, governance and deployment activities through August 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule, coordinate and govern concurrent releases across multiple projects and environments.
- Develop deployment strategies, release plans, cutover activities and detailed implementation runbooks.
- Create rollback plans and facilitate environment readiness, approvals, risk mitigation and issue resolution.
- Coordinate project teams, operational stakeholders, technical resources, vendors and senior decision-makers.
- Represent the portfolio at change governance and release coordination forums.
- Maintain release, environment and program schedules using structured scheduling disciplines.
- Support delivery leads with sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, workflow administration and reporting.
- Maintain project dashboards, delivery data quality, configuration records and governance alignment across work items.
About You
- At least six years of demonstrated experience leading deployment activities on large, complex ICT projects.
- Strong experience managing schedules across multiple business, technology and project teams.
- Experience supporting Scrum ceremonies, sprint management and backlog refinement.
- Availability to work outside standard hours, including weekends, to support deployment timeframes.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills across senior management, project teams, technical staff and vendors.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, teamwork and leadership capability across technical and non-technical resources.
- Proven ability to deliver high volumes of work under pressure, meet challenging deadlines and operate with limited supervision; able to maintain a compatible mobile device for required authentication.
