PO3 Engineer
Contract to 29/10/2027 | Nerang, QLD
Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced PO3 Engineer. In this role you will Manage road and bridge infrastructure projects while supporting safe, compliant and value-driven maintenance, construction and design outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project manage road infrastructure works under supervision and guidance from senior engineers.
- Administer contracts and coordinate project activities, resources and processes.
- Develop bridge and road maintenance procedures and work instructions.
- Select suitable contract delivery processes and monitor compliance and performance.
- Calculate material quantities, analyse test results and identify non-conformances.
- Determine construction controls and conduct or manage risk assessments.
- Support planning and design activities, including negotiating necessary design adaptations.
- Inspect works, release construction hold points and maintain stakeholder communication.
About You
- Hold a four-year Washington Accord-accredited Bachelor of Engineering, or an equivalent qualification assessed and accepted by Engineers Australia.
- Hold a current Class C driver's licence.
- Hold a Construction Industry Induction White Card.
- Provide suitable personal protective equipment.
- Apply rigorous analysis, sound judgement and effective decision-making.
- Build productive relationships and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- Work proactively, manage unexpected issues and apply specialist engineering knowledge to a high professional standard.
