Business Systems Analyst
Contract to 18/06/2027 | Carseldine, QLD | hybrid
Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Business Systems Analyst. In this role you will Deliver business and technical analysis for a cyber security uplift initiative by developing processes and artefacts that support security telemetry onboarding, monitoring and detection.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and undertake business analysis activities across multiple work packages.
- Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Assess current and future states across people, process and technology domains.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and working sessions.
- Develop security telemetry onboarding processes, process models, business rules and supporting artefacts.
- Analyse business impacts, dependencies and transition requirements, supporting implementation and operational readiness.
- Support capability maturity assessments, gap analysis, uplift planning and cyber security control improvements.
- Engage business, operational, cyber security and technical stakeholders while maintaining traceability, prioritisation and governance artefacts.
About You
- Demonstrated business analysis experience in complex ICT, cyber security or business transformation initiatives, specifically within SOC environments.
- Proven experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and requirements elicitation activities.
- Experience documenting business processes, requirements and future state designs.
- Strong analytical, written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working across both business and technical stakeholder groups.
- Experience supporting cyber security initiatives such as SOC maturity uplift, Essential Eight, Zero Trust or Secure by Design is highly desirable.
- Experience developing processes for log source onboarding and using cyber security monitoring, defence or data collection solutions is highly desirable.
